I’m constantly scouring the Internet for the coolest cardboard creations for cats to showcase on Hauspanther.com, the cat-style blog I founded, so I’ve seen a lot of different designs over the years. I’ve gathered some of my favorites here to show you that these primarily paper pieces can actually be both functional and quite beautiful.
Inspired by the spirit of creativity fueled by coffee and in conjunction with the exhibition, MODA has launched Co. Lab, an experiential space within the gallery. The environment, marked by expansive communal tables, is designed to spark thought and conversation. MODA is also planning additional coffee-related events, such as cuppings, with area businesses. I seek out Simón Vega, who, at 46, is El Salvador’s most well-traveled artist, having shown his sculptures in Italy, Austria, Cuba, Dallas and at Coachella, the California music festival. Vega’s work is at once larksome and deep. He makes spaceships – funky, fantastical, nonflying vehicles imbued with both the sleek glimmer of actual rockets and the ragged disorder of a street vendor’s stall. His installation "Third World Space Explorers," now showing at MARTE, looks at first like a homeless encampment dumped mid-gallery. There are two wheeled carts and, beneath one, a massive, mysterious lump that is the size of a truck tire and wrapped in a wrinkled blue tarp. The carts are appointed with all kinds of jury-rigged shelves, and weird, junky gadgetry is affixed to them: a mirror, a Rubik’s Cube, segments of garden hose.
Average ppg 21. Last 3 16 ppg. Last year 20. This team isn’t. Good at putting it in the end zone. Does it matter? You betcha if you want to win games.
Prime, even though you said Kaep took the league by storm, the Racist Redskins would rather have a woman beater than a social justice warrior. . Guess they would rather miss the playoffs, than sign Kaep.
I realize Shanahan is graded on the entire team. Shanahan inherited the worst defense in the NFL in terms of yards and points. In the first year they improved to 24 in Total Defense and this year they are 12 in Total Defense. The points per game isn’t great this year and that has to do with the turnover differential.
There are other places where the term 100% accuracy comes up, any time a paper claims 100% accuracy anywhere its a bullshit paper. Nothing is ever 100% accurate
All true but by that time the poor guy was seriously in the bag. He’s reportedly straight enough right now to give this team better than Solomon Thomas and Rueben Foster. Give him a year with some BS title like ‘Special Assistant’ or some such nonsense. NFL teams are built through the draft and the 49er’s draft record, save for Buckner, is flat out awful the past 5 years.
