Abloh is disarmingly earnest. He sometimes calls himself naïve. Michael Rock, who co-founded the design firm 2×4 and has worked with him for more than a decade, told me, “You have to be an amateur, in a way, or kind of innocent, to do so many different things but then have an instant opinion about them.” Much of the work of being a creative director, he said, “is that you sit in a room and people bring things to you all day long, and they say, ‘This or that?’ or ‘This spoon or that spoon?’ That’s where the naïveté is an important aspect. You’re not exhausted. You’re not jaded.” Abloh makes quick decisions. Walking through the runway set, he took a few paces and stopped at a white monobloc lawn chair. The LV employees looked on. He frowned. “That’s not New York,” he said, and turned the chair onto its back, so that it appeared to have been knocked over: “That’s New York.”

“I think it’s important for customers to have the time to think about and understand an issue for change to be implemented,” Ms. Golub said. “With more than 130 stores across six states, we are actively in dialogue with local governments, consumers and environmental advocates about this issue.”

When I land in New York, it’s early morning. I flick on my backup phone, and then I decide to dive headlong into American reality. I navigate to @realDonaldTrump on Twitter. The first tweet I encounter reads, "The White House is running very smoothly. … We are the envy of the world."
NEWSBREAK TWO: That same JAMA Network Open website published another academic analysis revealing a direct correlation between increases in drug companies’ so-called marketing payments to doctors (for meals, travel, gifts and so-called consulting fees) and increases in fatalities from opioid overdoses.
“Plastic bags are bad, but introducing legislation that negatively impacts poor people is not a solution. Providence has a history of inflicting policy that fines, taxes, or otherwise impairs the ability of residents to thrive-low income residents in particular,” the committee wrote in a letter in April, calling the ban another financial burden imposed by the city on low income residents.
By the late 1990s, though, Haiti had become a transfer point for Colombian cocaine en route to college campuses and suburban homes in the United States. Coke was the way to wealth for many Haitians, and accusations of drug dealing swirled around Aristide. He was never indicted, but in February 2004, a U.S. Navy SEAL team facilitated a deadly Haitian coup by escorting Aristide onto a flight bound for the Central African Republic.
They got lucky in the Lions game that another pick 6 was called back due to a holding call on the opposite side of the field where Garoppolo never even looked.
Golden Peak will once again be Pink Vail’s home base with registration, family activities, food and beverages and live music taking over the whole area. Start your day there and then travel all around the mountain to participate in the Checkpoint Challenge. Visit all of the checkpoints and drop your name into the prize bucket to possibly win a prize at the end of the day. A costume contest will be held as well, so get creative with your pink outfit. You’ll see some great displays of pink on this day.

I didn’t forget Joe Williams. Even according to Grant, Williams had round 2 or maybe even round 1 talent so the 49ers took a 4th round flyer on him. I have no issue with taking a 4th round risk when the player has a major upside to him. I personally wouldn’t draft a player who quit on his team (which is why I’m not in favor of drafting Nick Bosa) but they took the chance. It’s better than taking chances on injured players. I was referencing the first 3 picks of the Lynch/Shanahan era all seem to be bad decisions. Solomon Thomas, Reuben Foster, Ahkello Witherspoon – all defensive players playing poorly. 49ers have drafted Trent Taylor, Kittle, McGlinchey, Pettis, Richie James – they all have talent and have contributed. I’d even put CJ Beathard in there because I think he will be a serviceable backup. The defensive side has had much less success. The only guy who looks like a decent player is Fred Warner. Witherspoon looks like he’s gifted athletically but he’s not a good football player. There’s nothing about him I even remotely like. He needs a complete overhaul to his game including changing his piss poor mental approach to the game.
